Representatives of Turkish publishing houses and writers came together with Azerbaijani readers at the 8th Baku International Book Fair organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

The fair in Baku Expo Center, attended by approximately 200 publishing houses from 16 countries, was held on October 6-9, 2022. At the fair, where Turkey was the Guest of Honor, Baku Yunus Emre Institute organized a signing day for personal development and cultural exchange writers Salih Uyan, Ferhat Kardaş, and children's literature writer Birsen Ekin. In addition to the signing days at the fair, Ferhat Kardaş participated as a speaker in the talks titled "Keep Walking" at Caspian University, and Salih Uyan participated as a speaker in the talks titled "Being an E-Parent in the Digital World" at MEB Baku Turkish Schools. On the other hand, children’s book author Birsen Ekin told tales and played games with the title "Let's Dream" at Primary School No. 201 and Maarif Schools.
