Academic Cooperation with Cyprus International University

Yunus Emre Institute will be giving Turkish language courses to the international students attending Cyprus International University.

A protocol of cooperation, including Turkish teaching as well, has been signed between Yunus Emre Institute's Nicosia Branch and Cyprus International University, located in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC).

The signature ceremony was held at the meeting hall of the university's rectorship  and attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri and Deputy Director Abdullah Aktaş, representing the Institute.

Under the protocol, the experts from the Institute, established to promote Turkish language, history, culture and art provide training on these areas abroad, will give compulsory Turkish language courses to those whose native tongue is not Turkish and who fail to certify their Turkish proficiency.
