A Protocol on Academic and Scientific Cooperation Was Signed between Yunus Emre Institute and Düzce University

Düzce University was included in the Turkey Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project (TABIP), which has been carried out by the Yunus Emre Institute and under the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. On behalf of our university to take part in the TABIP, which aims to introduce and increase Turkey’s activities, academic and scientific cooperation and international recognition in the academic field, the protocol was signed between our Rector Prof. Dr. Nigar Demircan Çakar and President of the Yunus Emre Institute Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş on 18th September, 2019.

It is planned to assign human resources, share technical infrastructure, conduct joint projects, exchange information and data, develop institutional capacities and similar collaborations between the parties within the framework of the activities of TABIP and "science diplomacy".

With the framework of the protocol, Düzce University will conduct joint projects, trainings,  seminars, conferences, activities and programs in Turkey  and abroad with the cooperation of Yunus Emre Institute.  Innovation, research and development activities supported by TABIP or carried out by TABIP's partner organizations will be supported by Düzce University in order to ensure the realization of the developed scientific projects with the real sector.

Besides, it is mutually stated that a TABIP Box which has some features of TABIP Portal developed under TABIP,  shall be placed at Düzce University’s library. With TABİP Box Kiosk, users will be able to access the latest academic and scientific news published on TABİP Portal; see academic and scientific developments, job advertisements for students from various sectors, announcements that containing information about academic and scientific projects and organizations; follow the calls for projects and grants from institutions and organizations around the world and the scholarship opportunities provided by universities, institutions and organizations all over the world; will be able to follow the academic and scientific activities held in various locations of the world on the world map and reach the details of the event.
