Ambassador Spouses Meet in Abuja

The spouses of ambassadors working in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, came together in an organization hosted by Abuja Yunus Emre Institute.

On November 2, 2021, the wife of Turkish Ambassador to Abuja Hidayet Bayraktar, Füsun Bayraktar, met with the ambassador's wives in Abuja with the program organized by the Institute. The wives of the ambassadors of Angola in Abuja, Australia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Indonesia, South Korea, India, Japan, Namibia, Tanzania and Greece attended the program.

ERDOĞAN'S PHOTO EXHIBITION "MY TRAVEL TO AFRICA" VISITED

After the event was opened by Macit Koç, the Director of Abuja Yunus Emre Institute, the participants were informed about Yunus Emre Institute, which has 64 Cultural Centers in 53 countries. After the Institute presentation, the photography exhibition of Ms. Emine Erdoğan called “My Travels to Africa” was visited.

TURKISH CULTURE INTRODUCED

During the exhibition, tea and coffee, one of the precious drinks of Turkish culture, and Turkish desserts were offered to the guests. After the institute was toured, the guests were informed about Turkish language and Turkish culture.

In the event, information was given about the joint works planned to be carried out in Nigeria on culture and education in the future, and ideas were exchanged about new projects to be made.
