"Arbil Turkology Summer School" Kicks Off in Karabük

The "Arbil Turkology Summer School," designed specifically for the students of the Turkish Language and Literature Department at Salahaddin University-Erbil, has commended at Karabük University.

As part of the program developed thanks to cooperation between Yunus Emre Institute and Karabük University to promote the Turkish language, history and culture, 20 students will be hosted by Karabük University until July 30.

The guest students from Iraq who visit Turkey for the first time within the framework of the summer school will attend training at the Turkish and Foreign Languages Research and Application Center (TÖMER) of Karabük University. The students will an opportunity to attend various social and cultural activities and artistic events, in addition to the academic training and seminars, in order to know the Turkish culture, history, art, customs and traditions closely. They will also be taken to tours around the city to get a glimpse of the historical and natural assets of Turkey.
