“Although the Syrian Safe Zone is referred to with war, poverty, and disorder on television channels and in the newspapers, I actually saw here today that the reality is very different.  It is pleasing to see that there is a vivid perception of art in the programs we have attended in the region for the last three days, despite all the negativities. Today, there are valuable artists from Idlib with us. The language of art emphasizes brotherhood and unity. The events that will last throughout the week undoubtedly be an example for everyone, and such valuable works will take place all over the Safe Zone. In addition to teaching Turkish, Yunus Emre Institute also deserves thanks for organizing joint programs with regional artists and making the Institute a natural address.

In the program, which pulled back the festival curtain with the theater “Sıfırın Altında (Under Zero)’’, the musical ‘’Vatan (Homeland)’’ on March 28, the children’s theater “Behlül and Hakim Zeklül’’ on March 29, the exhibition “Dünya Hafızasından Eserler (Works from the Memory of the World)’’ and sand art performance on March 30-31 was held.
