Melodies of the East and West at the Albanian Guitar Festival

The concert held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, on July 8, 2021, as part of the Albanian Guitar Festival, provided an unforgettable musical feast. Organized with the contributions of Tirana Yunus Emre Institute, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania and many other organizations, the concert was held at the Presidential Palace. The famous Turkish guitarist Dr. Celil Refik Kaya was one of the stars of the festival. The harmony of Eastern and Western melodies echoed at the Albanian Guitar Festival. 

EAST-WEST SYNTHESIS FROM THE GUITAR OF DR. KAYA

Guitarist Dr. Celil Refik Kaya presented different melodies of East and West to the music lovers. Moving from tradition to universal values in an originality that creates a synthesis between East and West, the artist gave the audience an unforgettable evening.

Guitar artists from Colombia, Italy, Russia and Spain also took the stage in the concert, which started after the speech of Festival Director Denis Bizhga, in which he introduced the famous guitarist.

In the protocol of the concert, which took place with the great interest of the media and art lovers, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Albania Elva Margariti, Ambassador of Turkey to Tirana Murat Ahmet Yörük, Ambassador of Japan to Tirana Takada Mitsuyuki, Ambassador of Spain to Albania Marcos Alonso Alonso and Tirana Yunus Emre Institute's Director Ömer Osman Demirbaş,  as well as the missions of other embassies in Albania participated in this event.

The concert attracted great interest from Albanian art lovers. The festival, which started on July 1, 2021, will end on Saturday, July 10.
