"Ramadan in Morocco" Video Contest Awards

The awards for the three contestants who won the short video contest on "Ramadan in Morocco" were presented at the awards ceremony organized at the Yunus Emre Institute in Rabat. 

The awards were presented for the three contestants who won the short video contest on "Ramadan in Morocco", organized with the collaboration of the Rabat Yunus Emre Institute, Kingdom of Morocco Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Regional Directorate of Rabat-Sale-Kenitra, National Fine Arts Institute, and Mohammed V University, Faculty of Literature and Humanities.

The awards ceremony for the contest, which received the videos via the Internet between April and May, was held at Rabat Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) on July 2, 2021. The awards of the winners were presented by Rabat YEI Director Ensar Fırat, Abdelmalek Essaadi University Professor of Communications Dr. Abdellah Abu Awad, and journalist Abdellah Addamoon at the awards ceremony.

Soufaine El Fassiki received the first place award, Esma Adnani received the second place award, and Yasin Tazi received the third place award in the contest. The contest received more than 40 short videos on "Ramadan in Morocco". The first place in the contest was awarded a round-trip ticket to Istanbul by Turkish Airlines, and the second and third places were awarded professional cameras.

A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO STRENGTHEN OUR FRIENDSHIP WITH THE PEOPLE OF MOROCCO

Rabat YEI Director Ensar Fırat mentioned that the holy month of Ramadan had a special place in the culture of Morocco and said, "I think that as Rabat Yunus Emre Institute, we have created a good opportunity to strengthen our friendship with the people of Morocco by emphasizing common cultural points of Turkish culture and the local culture through this short video contest."

Soufaine El Fassiki, the winner of the first place in the contest organized by Rabat Yunus Emre Institute, has expressed his happiness. Soufaine El Fassiki mentioned that the contest provided him with the opportunity to improve himself and find an audience outside of Morocco. He thanked everyone who collaborated within the contest.
