A painting course has been organized for the children aged between 11 and 15 in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.

In the four-week course held at Yunus Emre Institute's Khartoum Branch between November 11 and December 4, 2019, Sudanese primary and secondary school students sharpened their skills in various areas of painting and made new friends.

The children who were tutored by Esra Babikir for four weeks were given their certificates of attendance during the closing ceremony of the course. Tahani Khalafla, the mother of one of the trainees, commented on the course. "My child's interest in the school and homework has increased since the beginning of the painting course. He loves this course very much. He quickly completes his tasks at home in order to go to the course on time," she said.

An exhibition featuring the paintings made by the children during the course has been launched. Visitors will be able to see the exhibition at the Institute's building until December 31, 2019.
