Yunus Emre Institute has represented Turkey at the Nations Day Festival, held in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

The fourth instance of the festival, organized by the Beirut Golden Awards organization company, was held between July 5 and 7, 2019. Turkey, Morocco, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, India, Bangladesh and the Greek Cypriot State attended the festival to showcase their cultural heritage.

Representing our country at the festival under the auspices of the Turkish Embassy in Beirut, Yunus Emre Institute's Beirut Branch provided information on the Institute's activities, the Turkish language courses given and course materials published.  Marbling works exhibited by Senem Kıroğlu Mehtar stole the spotlight. Visitors had a chance not only to learn about the art of marbling, but also to engage in the very process of creating marbled works and take with them what they created with their own hands. Mehtar's works were given as presents to other visitors.
