Turkish Films Garner Great Interest in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The "Turkish Film Week" events held in 23 cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have come to an end.

During the Turkish Film Week, held by Yunus Emre Institute with support from the Directorate General of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in Bosnia and Herzegovina between December 11 and 15, the prominent example of Turkish cinema were aired and special screenings were conducted for kids.

Famous Turkish actor Gürkan Uygun, invited by Yunus Emre Institute to attend the 9th Turkish Film Week, gave an interview following the screening of "Ankara Yazı Veda Mektubu." Uygun pointed out that films tended to bring the events that were overlooked to the attention of viewers. "Pains are experienced in the same way. Ideas may differ, but the sorrows are the same. This is what "Ankara Yazı-Veda Mektubu," where I am the lead actor, is about," he said. The interview saw huge participation.

On the second day of the Turkish Film Week, famed actor Gürkan Uygun met students from the Department of Drama and Acting of the Faculty of Fine Arts at International Sarajevo University and Sarajevo State University.
