Turkish Films Meet Serbian Audience

The Turkish films visit Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on their tour around the world. The event entitled "Turkish Film Week," featuring the finely curated selection of Turkish films, will bring 11 films, including documentaries, comedies, dramas, horror and action films to Belgrade.

The will be hosted by Dom Omladine Beograda between September 15 and 20, 2019, and producer and screenwriter Tarık Tufan will be the guest of the premiere night when the film "Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever" (Love Loves Coincidences) will be screened.

In the Homage to Masters zone, to which veteran Turkish actress Hülya Koçyiğit will attend as a guest, the film "Susuz Yaz," produced in 1963, will be presented to the taste of moviegoers.

During the "Turkish Film Week," organized by Yunus Emre Institute with support from the Directorate General of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, "Organize İşler 2" (Magic Carpet Ride 2), "Türk İşi Dondurma" (Turkish Ice Cream), "Anons" (Announcement), "Ahlat Ağacı" (The Wild Pear Tree), "Unutursam Fısılda" (Whisper If I Forget), "Sofra Sırları" (Serial Cook), "Buğday" (Grain), "Genç Pehlivanlar" (Young Wrestlers) and "İşe Yarar Bir Şey" will be aired.

Tarık Tufan, the director of "Anons," which will be screened during the film week, will meet students and academics from the Department of Cinema at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Belgrade.
