At the ceremony, Syrian Razan al-Kadri, a first year student at the Faculty of Medicine, who received his Turkish certificate, said: “One who speaks only one language is one person, but one who speaks two languages is two people. We thank you for what you contributed to us here. I hope to be a moral and successful doctor in my safe country.” He referenced Yahya Kemal’s line “People live in the realm as they dream.”
