Yunus Emre Institute and Turkish Maarif Foundation Sign a Cooperation Agreement in Kosovo

A cooperation agreement was signed between Kosovo Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and Turkish Maarif Foundation.

In the written statement made by Pristina Yunus Emre Institute, it was stated that a cooperation agreement was signed between Yunus Emre Institute and Turkish Maarif Foundation, which has been carrying out educational activities in Kosovo's Pristina and Prizren cities since 2017.

COLLABORATION ENABLES MORE EFFICIENT AND FASTER RESULTS

According to the statement signified the fact that the institutions of Turkey that continue to work in the field of public diplomacy act together ensure the efficient use of human resources, a better quality of fieldwork, and faster results from activities, the followings were noted:

In this way, the Turkish Maarif Foundation, which carries out educational activities all over the world from pre-school to university, based on the common accumulation of humanity and the ancient tradition of wisdom in Anatolia, and Yunus Emre Institute, operating all over the world to promote Turkish language, culture and art, has added a new one to their collaborations with the motivation to act together."

Mehmet Ülker, Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centers Coordinator in Kosovo, said that this cooperation agreement offered the opportunity to combine the energies and opportunities of both institutions in a more systematically.

Turkey Maarif Foundation Kosovo Representative Oğuz Hamza Yılmaz also pointed out the importance of the agreement and said:

Turkish Maarif Foundation, which set out with the claim of being a universal education brand in 2016, continues its educational activities successfully in many parts of the world today. With the cooperation agreement signed, our teachers and students, who are with us on the Kosovo side of this exceptional success, will have the opportunity to benefit more effectively from the opportunities offered by Yunus Emre Institute.

After the signing ceremony, Kosovo Turkish voice artist Ebru Jılta gave a solo performance accompanied by a guitar consisting of Turkish and Albanian songs.
