Anniversaries of the Çanakkale Naval Victory and the Adoption of the National Anthem and the Commemoration of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Exhibition in Manama

A photo exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Manama and the Manama Yunus Emre Institute, on the occasion of the 109th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory, the greatest pride in our recent history, and the 103rd anniversary of the adoption of the National Anthem, and within the scope of the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Commemoration Ceremony.

 

Citizens of Republic of Türkiye residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the members of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Manama attended the first of the two ceremonies held on March 18th, 2024. attended. The ceremony started with a moment of silence for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades in arms, and our beloved martyrs, the heroes of the unique Çanakkale Naval Victory, which set an example for the struggle for independence of all the peoples of the world, and with the reading of the National Anthem and continued with the speeches of Manama Ambassador Esin Çakıl. Then, the ceremony participants were informed about the exhibition.

Second Ceremony Held for Students

On the evening of the day the event was held, a second ceremony was held for the students of Manama Yunus Emre Institute, who could not attend the first ceremony due to the courses they had to continue at their universities, but wanted to feel the spirit of Çanakkale with us. Ceremony T. started with the speeches and briefings of Ambassador of the Republic of Türkliye in Manama Esin Çakıl. Then, while visiting the exhibition with the students, Manama Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Şükran Yılmaz answered the students' questions about the exhibition and the Çanakkale Naval Victory, the National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy.
