"Come and See What Love Made Me" Calligraphy Exhibition in Sarajevo

A calligraphy exhibition consisting of the works of Bosnian calligrapher Abdulhak Hadzimejlic was opened at the Yunus Emre Institute (YIE) in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on March 27th, 2024.

Academicians, students and guests attended the opening in the exhibition hall of the YEI building in the capital. Hadzimejlic told reporters that he was very happy to open the exhibition during Ramadan.

Stating that there are 37 calligraphy works in the exhibition titled "Come and See What Love Has Done to Me", "I made the exhibition for my late mother. I exhibited thuluth and jali thuluth samples. We are very happy that this exhibition has opened, we invite everyone" Abdulhak Hadzimejlic said.

The exhibition, in which Bosnian artist Armin Muzaferija sang hymns, will remain open until April 5th.
