A conference entitled "Common Points in Turkish-Russian Relations" has been held in the Orientalism Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

Thanks to cooperation among Yunus Emre Institute's Moscow Branch, the Orientalism Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Gazi University and Ahmet Yesevi University, the event was held on December 16, 2019 to discuss the cultural, literary, historical, economic, sociological and political relations between the two countries.

Topics were discussed under four main categories, namely Teaching Turkish in Russia, Promoting Turkey in Russia and Russia in Turkey, Cultural and Historical Relations between Turkey and Russia, and Economic Relations between Turkey and Russia, and it was stressed that the common values and established relations between Turkey and Russia will increase in the future.
