Deputy Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop has toured around the cultural sites in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on the first day of his official visit to Kazakhstan.

Flying to Astana to attend the international conference of parliaments titled "Astana Global Integration, Security and Peace Center," Deputy Speaker Şentop paid a visit to Yunus Emre Institute's Astana branch on November 25, 2018.

During the visit, Şentop was briefed by Yunus Emre Institute's Astana Branch Deputy Director Dr. Almagül İsina about the cultural and educational activities of the branch. He underlined that Yunus Emre Institute is making a great contribution to the development of cultural relations among countries.

Following the presentation about the activities of Yunus Emre Institute's Astana branch, Şentop met the instructors and chatted with the trainees attending the Turkish language courses.
