Engin Noyan Visits Home City Prizren

Engin Noyan, an actor, writer, presenter and program producer, has met his fellow townsmen in Prizren, Kosovo.

During the event hosted by Yunus Emre Institute's Prizren Branch, Kosovar Turkish Writers' Association President and TÜRKÇEM Journal Owner Zeynel Beksaç, Yunus Emre Institute's Prizren Branch Director Dr. Mehmet Ülker, Bridge Culture and Education Association and MATUSITEB President Hüsrev Emin delivered keynote speeches, and Engin Noyan talked about destiny and conquest.

Noting his enthusiasm for sharing his views and feelings in his fellow country, Noyan discussed how the concepts of destiny and conquest have changed over time. He argued that Turkey's role as a bridge between the east and the west has determined Turkey's geographical destiny and the Balkans constitute a key geography in the world. Noyan stressed the importance Turkish had enjoyed for communication as well as the need for re-establishing this bridge for communication.

The event was jointly organized by the Kosovar Turkish Writers' Association, Skopje-Bridge Culture and Education Association, True Path Turkish Culture and Art Association and TÜRKÇEM Journal and attended by Sabri Demir, the Balkans Advisor to the President of the Republic of Turkey, and Balkans Expert Nedim Emin. At the end of the event, the attendants posed for souvenir photo.
