Göbeklitepe, the world's first known temple dating back to 12,000 years ago, has been promoted with an exhibition held in Ganja, Azerbaijan, as per of the 2019 Year of Göbeklitepe festivities.

The exhibition was unveiled on November 13, 2019 by Yunus Emre Institute's Baku Branch in cooperation Turkish consulate general in Ganja with support from Ganja Governorate, garnering huge interest from the residents of Ganja.

Featuring Göbeklitepe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the oldest temple, the exhibition was opened in Mesheti Gencevi Cultural Center.

The exhibition showcasing the historical adventure of Göbeklitepe since its discovery will be open to visitors until Monday, December 23.
