Ottoman Festival in Hungary

The Ottoman-Hungarian Festival was held in Tata (Gölbaşı) of Hungary with the support of Budapest Yunus Emre Institute (YEI), Maarif Foundation, Organization of Turkic States Hungary Office, and Gül Baba Foundation. 

At the festival, which was held for the 14th time this year, the visitors had the opportunity to get to know the Ottoman period life, cuisine, clothes and weapons.

TURKISH-HUNGARIAN SONGS CONCERT

At the festival held on June 3-5, Hungary Exhibition in Ottoman Archives, Turkish-Hungarian Songs Concert with Hungarian artist Tilla Törük and Turkish Days activities were held by Yunus Emre Institute.

At the festival, where the Ottoman period was revived, an exhibition entitled "Hungary in the Ottoman Archives" prepared by the Presidency State Archives was opened, and Turkish and Hungarian songs were sung by Hungarian artist Török Tilla.

OTTOMAN CUISINE, PERIOD CLOTHES AND TURKISH ARCHERY

While the Ottoman cuisine and the clothes of that period were introduced at the Yunus Emre Institute site, the visitors received information about Turkish archery by doing archery training.

Turkish tea, coffee and, desserts were offered to the visitors.
