"WE ATTACH SPECIAL IMPORTANCE TO JOURNALISTS"

Skopje Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Serhat Kula said about the workshops organized for young people, "North Macedonia is a place where local Turkish media shows intense participation. In this respect, we attach special importance to the journalists working here."

"THERE ARE MANY YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN TÜRKİYE AND WANT TO CONTINUE THEIR CAREERS IN TÜRKİYE IN THE FUTURE"

Coordinator Kula said, "In addition to Turkish institutions such as TRT, TRT Balkan, Anadolu Agency, there are nearly 20 journalism and social media reporting platforms in the region. Therefore, Türkiye's investments, development projects and cultural diplomacy efforts here are permeating the region through the local press. In this context, there are many young people in the region who are particularly interested in Türkiye and want to continue their careers in Türkiye in the future."

"WE WILL CONVEY TO YOUNG PEOPLE THE IMPORTANCE OF JOURNALISM AND BROADCASTING IN A MULTICULTURAL AND MULTILINGUAL ENVIRONMENT"

"We will create a harmony with the participation of students from Turkish-teaching schools in the region, students studying in the field of communication and Turkish young people studying at universities in North Macedonia, and we will convey to young people the importance of journalism and broadcasting in a multicultural and multilingual environment," said Coordinator Kula.

Project Coordinator Alpay Arı underlined that TRT has been providing trainings all over the world since 2017 with the motto "Everyone has a story".

Coordinator Alpay Arı said, "We find young people excited. Especially since the media sector and digital media have developed a lot, young people want to take important steps in this sector."

On the last day of the workshops organized in two separate groups for communication experts and people interested in the field of communication, a digital video competition was organized in which all participants took part.

On the last day of the "Mobile Journalism Workshop", certificates were presented to the participants after the digital video competition.
