Certificate Ceremony for Malaysian Armed Forces Personnel Held in Kuala Lumpur

Yunus Emre Institute continues to strengthen the relations between Türkiye and other countries and prepare the ground for cooperation in various fields in the international arena through the Turkish courses it organizes all over the world.

A certificate ceremony was held for nearly 50 Malaysian Armed Forces personnel who successfully completed the Turkish language course organized by Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Institute.

The ceremony hosted by Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Institute was attended by Malaysian Armed Forces Defense Training Department Director General Brigadier General Hacah Fazila Binti Hacı Abdullah, Turkish Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Emir Salim Yüksel, Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Ömer Altun and Malaysian Armed Forces personnel who successfully completed the Turkish course.

Delivering the protocol speech at the ceremony, Brigadier General Abdullah expressed his gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Institute for the Turkish courses that he also attended.

Abdullah stated that he had been to Türkiye before and visited the Turkish General Staff and that he had the opportunity to personally see how great and effective the Turkish Armed Forces are.

COOPERATION BETWEEN NATIONAL DEFENSE UNIVERSITIES OF TÜRKİYE AND MALAYSIA

Expressing his wish that the Malaysian Armed Forces personnel who received their Turkish certificates will continue their Turkish education further, Abdullah said that they aim to establish cooperation between Malaysia and Türkiye's national defense universities and thereby exchange students.

Brigadier Abdullah stated: "I visited the Turkish General Staff in Türkiye and I was thoroughly impressed, we would like to see students from the Turkish Armed Forces in the Malaysian Armed Forces. I wish this cooperation between the two countries to be long-lasting."

RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES ARE STRENGTHENED WITH TURKISH LESSONS

Turkish Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Emir Salim Yüksel stated that the close ties between Türkiye and Malaysia continue to strengthen through Turkish lessons.

"IT MOTIVATES US TO SEE THAT THE INTEREST IN TURKISH IS INCREASING DAY BY DAY"

Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Ömer Altun stated that they are excited to successfully complete the A1 level of the Turkish lessons organized in cooperation with the Malaysian Ministry of Defense Department of Education.

Altun stated. "As the Institute, we strive to touch new hearts and establish new ties with Turkish on the path we set out with Yunus Emre's message 'Let's get acquainted'. It motivates us to see that the interest in Turkish is increasing day by day."

Following the protocol speeches, the ceremony ended with Ambassador Yüksel presenting certificates to the Malaysian Armed Forces personnel who successfully completed the Turkish course.
