"The Dastan of Arzu Fish" Musical Staged in Vienna

The musical named "The Dastan of Arzu Fish" was presented to art lovers in Vienna, the capital of Austria, with the support of Vienna Yunus Emre Institute and Azerbaijan Cultural Center.

The musical, which was staged in the concert hall of the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts on 22 and 23 February 2023, was performed by the Öst Ensemble musical group, consisting of artists of Turkish, Azerbaijani, Hungarian and other nationalities.

Inspired by Behrengi's work called Little Black Fish

Inspired by Azerbaijani-Iranian writer Samed Behrengi's work called Little Black Fish, the musical tells the story of a freshwater fish living in a river and its efforts to achieve its goal of freedom despite obstacles and difficulties. 

In the musical, the adventure of a freshwater fish was told in Azerbaijani Turkish and German.

In the musical, where various dance performances were performed, Turkish, Persian, Macedonian and Hungarian works were also performed.
