Event Held in Romania within the Scope of "My Choice is Turkish Project"
Bucharest Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) organized an event for students learning Turkish in public schools in Romania, within the framework of the "My Choice is Turkish Project".
Within the scope of the "My Choice is Turkish Project", funny and educational activities were held for students learning Turkish as an elective language course at Dante Alighieri High School, Adrian Paunescu Secondary School, Sfantul Andrei Secondary School, Uruguay Secondary School, Secondary School No. 103 and Titu Maiorescu Secondary School in Romania.
In the event, which was held to enable children to learn with fun and to concretize the perception of Türkiye and Turkish in their minds, a performance artist wore a Nasreddin Hodja costume and told jokes and stories to Romanian students.
At the event, students who participated in quiz and puzzle workshops learned the ropes of marbling art and made marbling works.
"Children are learning Turkish with incredible progress"
Regarding the program, "We have left two months behind in our project, which started at the beginning of 2024. With incredible progress, children are learning Turkish. In addition to Turkish, making selections from our culture through the events we organize in schools, we also introduce them." YEI Romania Coordinator Mustafa Yıldız said.
At the end of the event, Turkish tea, Turkish coffee and baklava were served to students and participants.
Approximately 500 students are learning Turkish as an elective language course with the My Choice Turkish Project carried out by YEI in Romania.
