"My Choice is Turkish" Project to Be Implemented in Pakistan
A new one has been added to the list of countries where the My Choice is Turkish Project is carried out by Yunus Emre Institute.
Under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Islamabad, a cooperation protocol was signed between Lahore Yunus Emre Institute and Gazali Education Foundation within the scope of the "My Choice is Turkish Project".
Türkiye's Ambassador to Islamabad, Professor Mehmet Paçacı, attended the signing ceremony held at Allama Iqbal University in the capital Islamabad. Lahore Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Professor Halil Toker, Pakistan Minister of Culture Secretary Hümeyra Ahmed and guests attended.
Turkish teaching activities will be organized in Gazali Education Foundation schools in Pakistan within the scope of the My Choice is Turkish Project by Yunus Emre Institute.
"My Choice is Turkish" Project
In addition to the Turkish teaching activities organized in more than 80 representative offices abroad, Yunus Emre Institute carries out the My Choice is Turkish Project in many countries due to the ever-increasing demand for learning Turkish in the world.
Within the scope of the “My Choice is Turkish Project”, the Institute contributes to the studies of teaching Turkish as an elective foreign language in public schools abroad. The project includes studies on the introduction of Turkish into the official curriculum as an elective foreign language, the creation of curriculum programs; It is grouped under two main headings: preparation of Turkish textbooks as a foreign language for primary and secondary education. On the other hand, the Institute organizes various training programs to contribute to the professional development of Turkish teachers working within the scope of the project.
