Famed actor Tolgahan Sayışman meets his fans

Yunus Emre Institute's Tirana branch has brought together famed actor Tolgahan Sayışman and his fans in an online even within the context of Yunus Emre Interviews.

The program was moderated by Macedonia's famous poet and presenter Seyhan Yakupi. The event was attended by the trainees of Turkish language courses and many people from Albania and other parts of the world.

Sayışman has many fans in the Balkans, particularly including Albania, with his successful acting in many soaps and films. During the interview, Sayışman indicated that his career started with the TV series entitled "Elveda Rumeli," shot in Macedonia, but he owed his fame to the TV series entitled "Asla Vazgeçmem," aired in approximately 36 countries.

He noted that he had made the best of the quarantine process and answered questions about his career. Pointing out that he had achieved his goals regarding his career, Sayışman stressed that desire and hard work were very crucial in this process.

He stated that Turkish cinema sector had made great progress since its inception and Turkish productions are now watched even in Africa. "If someone had said to me in 1998 when I initiated that I would be watched all across the world, I would frankly not believe it. Today, we shot TV series and films by targeting to sell them to at least 25 countries," he said. Sayışman indicated that he was not foreign to the Albanian culture as his father was an Albanian migrant and his wife was an Albanian.

The program ended after Sayışman answered questions from the students who were learning Turkish.
