Nuri Bilge Ceylan to Meet Moviegoers in Rome and Vienna

Turkish film director, screenwriter and photographer Nuri Bilge Ceylan will come together with moviegoers in Rome and Vienna.

The films by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, who rose to fame at international film festivals such as Cannes and Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, will be aired in Rome between November 22 and 24 and in Vienna between December 2 and 8 as part of the "Turkish Film Week" event held by Yunus Emre Institute in cooperation with the Directorate General of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The famed director will attend the screening of his films "Ahlat Ağacı" (Wild Pear Tree), "Kış Uykusu" (Winter Sleep), and "Bir Zamanlar Anadolu'da" (Once Upon a Time in Anatolia" and meet cinema students, directors and producers at interviews.

Many domestic films will be presented to the taste of moviegoers in Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Morocco, Italy, Hungary, Romania and Kazakhstan within the frame of the "Turkish Films Week."

Under the project, hundreds of films have been screened for the moviegoers in many countries, at the same time bringing together veteran actors and actresses such as Hülya Koçyiğit, Perihan Savaş, Gürkan Uygun, Esra Bilgiç, Kadir Çöpdemir and Emre Kızılırmak directors such as Mustafa Öztürk and İsmail Fidan, producers such as Nermin Aytekin and screenwriters such as Tarık Tufan with the audience.
