Rabat Yunus Emre Institute Organizes Iftar Program in Salernos

Rabat Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) in Morocco organized an iftar program for those with special needs in the city of Salé.

Participating in the program, Türkiye's Ambassador to Rabat, Mustafa İlker Kılıç, greeted those who attended the iftar and congratulated the month of Ramadan.

Rabat YEI Coordinator Reha Ermumcu also said that YEI has been organizing the iftar program since 2017.

Ermumcu praised the relationship between YEI and the Moroccan state organization "Mohammad VI National Center for Disabled People" and their cooperation in organizing this iftar.

Said el-Bekkal, Director of the Integration and Employment Help Center, which deals with the integration of people with special needs into the labor market and society, noted in his statement that this iftar aims to bring joy to this segment of the society.

Stating that the iftar program is organized within the framework of cultural activities between the two countries, "Such initiatives contribute to the process of reintegrating people with special needs into society, encourage them and give them self-confidence, especially since the food served at iftar tables is prepared by them," Bekkal said.

In addition to the members of the Mentally Disabled People Production and Employment Center, many diplomatic mission members, Turkish community in Morocco, cultural and media representatives also attended the iftar program.
