Attending the first lesson with officials from the Ministry of Defense of Brunei, Prof. Hamit Ersoy, Turkish Ambassador to Bandar Seri Begawan, highlighted the significant interest in Turkish language courses in Brunei.

Ambassador Ersoy said, “These courses reflect the increasing public interest in exploring and understanding Türkiye’s rich historical and cultural legacy. As the first session we have organized with MinDef, it also signifies a significant milestone for our Embassy.”

Ersoy emphasized that the enthusiastic reception of Turkish courses across Brunei is promising, facilitating cultural exchange and fostering enduring connections between peoples through language, and added, “This lays an important foundation for our bilateral agreements to translate into tangible outcomes.”

Ambassador Ersoy further highlighted that Turkish courses represent a significant stride in cultural exchange between the two nations.

In addition to the Turkish courses offered by the Institute in Brunei, the course initiated for the Brunei Ministry of Defense marked the 10th occasion in the country to host Turkish language teaching activities.
