Selçuk Yöntem, Kubilay Aka and Selin Şekerci, the leading actors of the movie, attended the gala night held on January 19, 2023 with the contributions of Baku Yunus Emre Institute and hosted by Park Cinema Flame Towers, which attracted great interest from Azerbaijani cinephiles.

Stating that they came to Baku to watch the movie together with Azerbaijani moviegoers and that they felt at home in this city, Selçuk Yöntem said: "This is my third time in Baku. I came here for the first time in 1992 for a play at the state theater, then in 2019 and today for the gala night of the movie 'Love Obligatory Direction'."

"I SAW OUR KINSHIP"

Kubilay Aka stated that this was his first time in Azerbaijan and expressed his impressions of Azerbaijan:

"I was surprised when I was walking around Baku. Everything is so top-tier, I met a very beautiful country. I saw our kinship everywhere, from the architecture of the city to our people and our hearts. This is my first time here and I am so happy. I did not have the time to visit Baku before. Next time I come here, I will be staying for a week. I would like to see other cities as well, not just Baku.”

Selin Şekerci mentioned that the people of Azerbaijan showed interest in them with a warm welcome and said, "When I come to Baku, I feel like I am in my country. I hope you enjoy the movie we made. It is very precious to us."
